ON THE GRASSHOPPER AND CRICKET (Poem)

Posted by Megha at 6:51 AM

The poetry of earth is never dead:
When all the birds are faint with the hot sun,
And hide in cooling trees, a voice will run
From hedge to hedge about the new-mown mead,
That is the grasshopper's-he takes the lead
In summer luxury-he has never done
With his delights, for when tired out with fun
He rests at ease beneath some pleasant weed.

The poetry of earth is ceasing never:
On a lone winter evening when the frost
Has wrought a silence, from the stone there shrills
The cricket's song, in warmth increasing ever,
And seems to one in drowsiness half lost;
The grasshopper's among some grassy hills

Examinations Are Not So Much Bad

Yah! Exams are not so much bad. I am not saying for the toppers, I am saying this for medium and totally dull students. You know that First to Fifth I easily turned up but when I promoted to Sixth class' examination hall I was very nervous like you only because it is the first stage of secondary classes. First day of sixth class' examination I go to school and very first I met to my class teacher and shared my problem to her. She told me that don't be so nervous, take exams easily. If you ran away with the examination and thinking that I reached them behind but in actual sense they are following you on step by step. From that day only I am easily turning up the secondary classes also. I am telling you one more time that don't nervous when the examination are near. GOOD LUCK! for your exams.

ART OF THE SAFE DRIVING

Posted by Megha at 5:08 AM

Wednesday, August 20, 2008

Safe Driving is like an art of our life. It is a very important task of our life. But some of the people can't understand this task and its need. I read the newspaper daily, there are at least two-three articles about car accidents, two children were died in the car accident because the driver had drunk etc. TRAFFIC RULES are the important part of this task. And also because of this, some accidents were held. The people who can't follow the traffic rules they don't have the permission to drive. If every individual follow these rules no accidents will occur, people can save their money, people can save their petrol, there will be no jam at the road etc. At last I would like to say that while driving follow the traffic rules otherwise you can lost your life and other's will also. If there will be no accidents no one die no children become orphan and no wife become widow. Just follow the traffic rules.

I think most of us like cheetah very much. Now I am going to give you some information about the cheetah.

  • Cheetah's head and body height is approximately 4.3-4.9 ft and their shoulder height is 2.3-2.8 ft.
  • Their weight is 75-150 lbs.
  • Females habit is solitary while males live in small-small groups.
  • Gazelle is their favorite prey . They also eat antelope, impala and other grazing animals.
  • They also eat fruits like watermelon and sometimes they eat lizards, frogs, rabbits, hares, eggs etc.
  • Their top speed is 75 mph.
At last I want to say that if we love them they love us too. Please help us to save them.

GEOGRAPHY LESSON (Poem)

Posted by Megha at 11:03 AM

Monday, July 14, 2008

When the jet sprang into the sky,
it was why the city
had developed
the way it had,
seeing it scaled six inches to the mile.
There seemed an
inevitability
about what on ground had looked haphazard,
unplanned and
without style
When the jet sprang into the sky.

When the jet reached
ten thousand feet,
it was clear why the country
had cities where the
rivers ran
and why the valleys were populated.
The logic of geography-
the land water attracted man-
was clearly delineated
When the jet
reached ten thousand feet.

When the jet rose six miles high,
it was
clear the earth was round
and that he had the more sea than land.
But it
was difficult to understand
that the men on the earth found
causes to
hate each other, to build
walls across cities and to kill.
room that
height, it was not clear why.

Friends! Are you have a true friend? Not I, most of us said that 'A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed'. It is a term of endearment we use for many of peoples we come across, but an actual friend is one who accepts you for what you are, can tell you when he thinks you are wrong, stands up for you and is with you in times of need.In fact if you have a true friend, you can get through almost anything. But to have such a friend you must be a friend.

Parents Are The True Guidence

Posted by Megha at 2:47 PM

From the moment you are born and throughout your life, there is someone who has your best interest at heart. They are there to hold your hand and guide you up the right path. They ask for nothing in return, but you thank them in your own special way-your mother and father. But some of us doesn't like there parents.

Animal Needs Loves Too...

All God's creature have rights, a fact that most people don't seems to recognize. This includes both human beings and creatures that cannot speak themselves, our four-legged friends, the animals around us.We know that in order to maintain balance in nature, each species has a role to play. Why is it then, that humans who are the only ones blessed with intelligence to understand this, do not realize the importance of maintaining the delicate balance? We often read incidents of poaching and hunting of wildlife? Already so many species facing extinction or are already extinct.

Nature Is Our Life

Nature! who do not loves nature especially girls but now who cares, the people who write poems, print an article on the newspaper about the nature they are also the enemies of the trees. If they cut all the trees how can we live if there are no more trees on the earth there will be no oxygen, if there will be no oxygen that means no life on the earth and believe me its truth. Industrial revolution changed the course of development throughout the world.
